Privacy policy

Scope

LUCA Personal is a personal-assistant system built and operated by a single individual (the owner) for their own use. It is not offered as a public service and has no users other than its owner. This policy explains how the system accesses, uses, stores, and shares data from the owner's Google account when connected through Google OAuth.

What data is accessed

LUCA Personal connects to the owner's own Google account to support personal productivity tasks involving Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Docs, and related Google services. Depending on the task requested, this can include:

• Calendar — event details, availability, and scheduling information.
• Email — message content, metadata, and drafts.
• Documents — file content and metadata from the owner's Google Drive or Docs.

This data is accessed only at the owner's direction, in the course of a specific personal-assistant function the owner has requested. LUCA Personal does not access Google account data on its own initiative or on any recurring schedule independent of a request.

How data is used

Data retrieved from the owner's Google account is used only to carry out the specific task requested — for example, drafting or sending an email, checking or creating a calendar event, or retrieving or editing a document. It is not used for any purpose beyond fulfilling that request.

How data is stored

OAuth credentials and any operational data needed for LUCA Personal to function are stored privately on infrastructure controlled by the owner. This data is not hosted by or accessible to any third party.

How data is shared

Google user data accessed through LUCA Personal is not sold. It is not shared with third parties, except where necessary for LUCA Personal to perform the specific functionality requested by the owner — for instance, making the corresponding call to a Google API to carry out that request. No data is shared for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the requested function.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke LUCA Personal's access to their Google account at any time from their Google Account's third-party access settings. Revoking access prevents any further access to Google account data through this system.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to how LUCA Personal operates. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
